... as we made our way up the the newly built Red Tail Stadium at Beaver Creek. What a stunning view we had not just of the course but the surrounding mountains as well. The course was in perfect condition and the view from the stadium was great we we were able to see a large portion of the downhill run. There was a huge giant screen as well so that we could see the action close up as well.

The course is designed to challenge the best skiers in ...

Glenwood Canyon is a rugged scenic 20km stretch of highway on the Colorado River. Its canyon walls climb nearly 400m on both sides. The Interstate 70 highway follows the river as it snakes its way through the Canyon. ...

Greetings from the base of Beaver Creek Mountain in beautiful Vail Valley, CO. More on that later:

Well we started today with a bonus visit to the Grand Canyon. We didn't know when we started out that the only way to head north from Grand Canyon, AZ was to go back through Grand Canyon National Park. In doing so we got to take the only rim road we didn't take the shuttle through yesterday, known as the Orange Route, which took us right to Desert View, ...

... Springs, it’s just off I-70 so no long drive up rough roads necessary. The hike also involves a specific destination and (although quite steep) is not very long.

While on most backcountry hikes in Colorado you mostly see very fit people and their dogs, the trail to Hanging Lake is filled with chubbies and oldsters from the lowlands who rarely do much walking other than the aisles ...
