... side the Blue River though. The hike down on the Blue River was so swampy and muddy that it drained us completely. The trail had an impressive amount of wildlife, but that may be due to the lack of people using it. The 2 hour ride home was tough as well.
Great park and I want to try and go do it all again.

Day 1 started off at 8:00 AM after our morning rituals. Our plan was to hike as many miles as we could, but to stop at a shelter. It had been raining most of this month and last month so the trail was muddy and had plenty of creek crossings, even though every review I read stated the creek crossing were dried up.
