... the resort, we walked into the Casino. It wasn't very busy. But we didn't stay very long - we probably were there for all of 20 minutes, sharing $5 on the nickle slot.
After that we headed over the main dining room in West Baden, Sinclair's. But we found it closed. So we are ate 'alfresco' in the atrium at Ballard's.
We got home about 6:15 pm. A really nice afternoon, and we're both still just too full to even think about ...
The last three days have been great. The ride from KC to St Louis was a pleasure, except for the last fifty miles in a pouring rain.
Wednesday, 7/3, we spent exploring St. Louis, the Arch, and the Arch museum. Lunch was at our hotel bar, with our favorite St. Louis bartender, Kimberly - with lots of pictures ...

Our tour guide's Grandmother attended square dancing and church sermons inside this cave.
We were about 80 feet below the surface and at one stage, because we were under a hill, it was 160 feet.
Everything about this tour was just spectacular!

Got to John Wayne airport on time thanks to Leah. While waiting for our plane, thought we were going to see some action. There were five cops, firemen and paramedics all at our gate. but it was some elderly lady that had gotten ill on the plane. she was OK. Arrived in Louisville on time, in fact a couple of minutes early. Paul picked us up & we went to dinner then on to their house. Deanna hadn't been feeling ...
