    ... I'm so pleased!

Back to the Sheraton where John took a nap while Sally did a great job with the laundry. How lucky I am to have a wife who takes such good care of me. After a two hour sleep, we went for dinner at Fiesta Jalisco. We ordered an app ( cheese and chorizo) Both of us went with the burrito's. Had to try a Margarita.

Back to the room for showers and bed by 10:00. I do seem to tire out about the 7th. day of a trip. Hope for my second ...

Sad to have missed it, but we plan on coming back out here at some point to see the Rockies.

We saw a lot of antelope herds on the way through ...

... Sheraton and then had to go to the pass office to pick up my 50th anniversary pass (3 days of skiing for $159) and got skiing by 10:30am. I wacked my shin on Saturday tubing at the ranch and I had a big bruise where my boot hit my shin. It hurt like anything to ski. The mountain got like 10 inches of snow and conditions were gorgeous though. I took a break and had a cup of chili at Bear River Grill. There were lots of people on the mountain between mardi gras, winter ...

... best time possible. When I took my first trip to the Steamboat area years ago, I had every intention trying a new location each year. But, I had such a wonderful time at both the ranch and at the ski mountain that I have no desire to go anywhere instead. I wouldn’t mind trying someplace new in addition to Steamboat, which I am doing this year in going to Snowmass as well, but I can’t imagine not returning to Steamboat each year. In my mind Steamboat/Vista ...
