... br> We caught the bus at 2pm and it was not a great ride. The bus was hot and had no wifi. Also my seat kept leaning back even when I didn't want it to. We were very uncomfortable the whole journey leading to more grumpiness. It was about a five hour drive to Airlie Beach. We are here now at Backpackers by the Bay. ... in Townsville, but the best thing is a trip to Magnectic Island. There a quite a number of hostels at Magnectic but I love the guesthouse I am in so I just did a day trip. Up around 9am! Breakfast and showered by 10. We headed down Stokes and Flinders St. and bought an umbrella as it was still raining before arriving at the 'Reef HQ' Great Barrier Reef Aquarium!! We arrived around half ten, It cost $53 for the two of us. The aquarium is the world's largest living coral reef aquarium!
