    Montreal!

A travel blog entry by hulcher on Jul 03, 2015

We checked out of our hotel and went on a boat tour of Lake Placid. We enjoyed seeing the many "camps" along the lake -many with only boat access. Across the street ...

Unfortunately, the rain continued. We enjoyed a swim in the indoor pool, dinner at the Dancing Bear restaurant on site and then watching the American ...

... day; I guess I thought it would be more leisurely. Instead it's more like we get on the road early and burn through to that day's destination and then you have a few hours to enjoy what's there. Now that I understand it better I feel better equipped to handle the amount of miles we put on each morning!

The Lake Placid area is really gorgeous. We headed up to High Falls Gorge and took the 1/2 mile nature trail. Got some amazing pictures. Nothing compared ...
