On our way south from Moab we stopped at the Kane Springs which was on the Old Spanish Trail and then Hole-N'-The-Rock, (not to be confused with Hole-in-the-Rock where the Mormon pioneers lowered their wagons down thru Glen Canyon) which was opened after WW2 as a diner and dance hall for the miners of the uranium boom. ... breath taking. I had to take a picture in my cape on top. The second I took off the tank top and put on the USA cape, a group of about 6 college kids starting shouting USA from the valley below. ... It snowed on and off all day and the sun peaked through a few times, but it was mostly cloudy and hard to see most of the day.
For lunch I had Mac n Cheese at a very crowded Gorrono Ranch. I also had a Heath Bar cookie.
