... absolutely stunning and more than I imagined and expected it would look like. Driving through telluride it's exactly how I imagined it to be cute vintage and hip shops made up the main high street, cute wooden homes and hotels dotted here and there and full of very hip, quirky and eccentric people. For lunch I had Mac n Cheese at a very crowded Gorrono Ranch. I also had a Heath Bar cookie.

After lunch I skied by myself off on Polar Queen, Dew Drop, Ophir Loop, See Forever, Lookout and then some runs off Lift 4. I quit about 3:30pm and dropped off my demo skis back at Christy Sports since it was my last day and then downloaded on ...

... needs to set their schedule a year ahead of time. Instead, after the train ride, we made the drive to Silverton and stayed in a room at the Teller Hotel for the night. Silverton was a real life ghost town, almost nothing is open in April (between skiing and the railroad season). There was one restaurant open for supper and one for breakfast and all the shops were closed.

Today we spent the day driving scenic highways; climbing over high mountain passes, viewing mountain ...
