... and stayed until bedtime. The air had become quite cool and the water felt so great we hated to get out! Aimee put Clare and Cohen to bed when we got home and Bruce and Caleb went fishing once more before we had to leave. We had a really great time in Colorado but are back on the road again heading to Utah in the morning. 4 National Parks in 6 days! Here's hoping we make it!

Day 21 11/1 Hairy flight into Telluride, lucky to get there as snowing in Denver,
lovely dinner for my birthday at New Sheridan

Day 22 12/1 Checked into house, picked up season pass, all the others arrived, watched Denver lose the playoff.
Struggling with altitude, had a headache for a couple of days

Day 23 13/1 First day skiing, extremely cold, only out for a few hours, groomers are ok, many tree runs are closed, needs snow.

... Murray, who stayed with us as part of his US tour. We took him on an organised jeep trip to the mountains on his first day, the high altitude was quite noticeable for him as he did a lot of huffing and puffing. We showed him the sights for a few days, climbed a few mountains (by car!!) then he took off to New Orleans and Vegas.

This won't be the full blog today since the park here In Silverton is having trouble with their WIFI. This seems to be a theme that is pretty common.
