Day 49. Vermont The first stop today was Fort Adams - not that was saw a great deal of the fort. His take on our stay in Manchester Center:
A wonderful location with trees turning to beautiful colours (colors) and some nice restaurants with less challenging American accents. We attended the Orvis Fly Fishing 2 day school at Orvis Headquarters. The building is itself very appealing and situated beside its' own casting ponds filled with rainbow trout to bring realism to outdoor practice sessions. ...

This is an incredible gem of a museum – and I can’t thank Judy and Robert enough, since without their tip we would have missed this totally exhilarating day!

Another little piece of history is the Little Red School House, built in 1868. The one room school stands in its original spot. Unfortunately, we weren't able to go inside, although the brochure said it was open. Still, a nice piece of Americana.
