    ... A wonderful catch up, with lots of stories & wines shared over the next 24 hours.

    Then we drove the length of Vancouver Island (managing to catch a Canada Day parade in Campbell River on the way) to catch a much larger ferry from Port Hardy in the north to Prince Rupert, 16 hours through narrow channels to mainland BC (through the Inside Passage).     Going sea kayaking today, so expecting rain lol. However wake up to glorious sunshine, hooray !!
    Look out of the window this morning and we are surrounded by lush green Spruces as Captain Michael steers his way through narrow channels on our way to Ketchikan. The last town in Alaska. The town is bigger than Juneau and exactly what i expected Alaska to look like. The houses, the scenery and the people are so friendly and genuine.
