Smoked Fish, a Moose, a Bear and a Fox

... a black bear scurried across the road ahead of us (no picture) and still later a red fox (no picture). We have seen more wildlife on this trip than on any previous trip across the top of Lake Superior.

Our stop for the night was in a fish camp beside the mouth of the Montreal River where I got some great sunset shots over the water. Don's complaining as he only has 15 amp service!

Met some every lovely people at breakfast all travelling different parts of Canada. Loaded the esky paid for the yoghurt and found out missing pink jumper belonged to Owners sister-in-law, husband ...

Had a little trouble going to sleep last night because I didn't want to miss anything in Debbie's house. It was so quiet, and three times I heard the train pass. I ended up recording it so I could hear it later. I didn't see any ghosts last night, but at one point it felt like something scratched my neck, and after that, it felt like something ruffled my hair, but it could've been in my head. ... were really entertaining around our constant log tree fires and we had the occasional Hootenanny provided by Barred and other unidentified owls. With so much area to prowl, game sighting is actually a rare but exciting event.

Headed back towards the Soo where Cindy and I will part until meeting up again in the Everglades in mid-December.
