      have better Bear discouragement gear (Bear Bangers or perhaps a high
      decibel air-horn?).
    • Bears in the fall feed for twenty
      hours a day.

      camping folk – one can legally stay three weeks in one place

    ... were really entertaining around our constant log tree fires and we had the occasional Hootenanny provided by Barred and other unidentified owls. With so much area to prowl, game sighting is actually a rare but exciting event.
