... then walked to the post office to get our new phone covers (exciting right!!). On the way back we sat on the big rocks by the river and just enjoyed the sun and the views....in the afternoon we headed to the gym to check it out and ended up signing up as it's the most reasonably prices place around.

... the coffee shop being pretty unique too. We had lunch at the coffee shop called 'Sticky Fingers Cafe' and it was so tasty!!

Darren had a coffee with a BBQ pulled pork sandwich on a pretzel bun.
I had a warm apple cider (cider isn't always alcoholic over here...it's just more of a spiced warm apple drink) and a salad with spinach, mandarin orange, cranberries, chicken, almonds, feta and a raspberry dressing. We resisted all of the yummy ...

But let's get back to the Aspen trees, I adore them for the colour of their barks blue silvery and their amazing golden leaves which generally abandoned the branches at the gentle swirl of the colorado wind.

... was freezing!!! -18c and to say we froze on the lift up would be accurate. The girls and I had frozen fingers that I think were on the way to frost bite. So being the responsible mother I am - we beat a hasty retreat into the nearest bar for a hot chocolate with whipped cream. Mick stayed out on his own (even though his fingers were freezing also) and the boys were on another slope. From that day on, we never left the house without hand Warmers ...
