      Falling Water

... For instance in the kitchen the vent was at each end (balance) of the counter allowing the perfect place to warm plates. In one of the bathrooms, at the back of a long shelf towels that hung above were warmed. There was no air conditioning, the windows all opened front to back providing the best cross breezes in the heat of summer. A fan installed in the kitchen at the top of a wall was painted that beautiful red, to match the window frames and the doorknobs. ...

... want to interrupt the spirits! The Inn has hosted many dignitaries and weary travellers over its many years. The interior is very Victorian, the walls laden with photos illustrating its history.

Night has fallen, we will too fall into our beds if we could. It takes a running leap to get on top of them by the way. No internet service holds this blog back. No photos today either, just wasn't one of those days, but look out tomorrow.

We spent our first night at the Holiday Inn Express in Belle Vernon, across from Hoss's.

We started the next day with an early morning breakfast at Eat'nPark with our PA friends. After breakfast, we went to see my Dad and grand parents' graves, and then we hit the road.

For the first part of our trip, we took the back roads through Mt Pleasant, Donegal, and more. At Breezewood we got on to the turnpike for the rest of the ride.

... rest of the blurred and slurred evening.

The next day nobody was feeling 100% we were supposed to climb but only me and Matt #2 were up for it. We all grabbed breakfast sandwiches at the sweetest coffee shop on the mountain. All of us except Jon who was severely struggling to move that day. Grace, #1 Matt and Adam headed back to the house and me and #2 Matt went to climb a little section in the woods. It was pathetic... we both ...
