... Kevin is snoring here, so I guess I should wrap this up. He did all of the driving today, even though I offered to help. Good job K. Thank you for bringing me to this wonderful corner of the earth. b ha...I think this is going to wake Kevin up. There is a parade of about 20 firetrucks going town the street in front of the inn. The rural areas reflects prosperous living and the city of Columbus is so neat. Clean, tidy and easy to get around. Arena area would be so neat on a game night and the cities current development work on the riverfront show their progressive thoughts.

We spent our first night at the Holiday Inn Express in Belle Vernon, across from Hoss's.

For the first part of our trip, we took the back roads through Mt Pleasant, Donegal, and more. At Breezewood we got on to the turnpike for the rest of the ride.

I had the pleasure of riding with Steve, a teacher from Columbus for an afternoon and morning, sharing a campsite in between. It was nice to share some stories and learn about life and the education system in Ohio.It was reassuring ...

Day of relaxation today. Breakfast was in the lodge dining room from 8-10am; eggs, bacon, and sausage, waffles, fruit and yoghurt and pastries. The morning activity for those that were interested was a golf tournament. Vicki, Deb and myself (the Anzacs) watched the first group start from the first tee then went for a walk around the houses. Barb, one of the locals not playing golf, showed us around the original cottages and also some large new houses that have been built ...
