A few friends I hadn't seen in months; Zev, Kenzie, and Luke (living in Alabama) met me in Curahee, GA to climb for the weekend. We got there around 9pm Friday night and set up camp. Once the tents were up we caught up on each others' Vista years around the campfire. Zev made some awesome soup to share! It had kale, sausage, beans and I don't even know what else but it was delicious. We were all tired from the drive so we hit the hay early.

... 8217; Tavern, just up the road from our hotel. Eating at the bar, I had a cheeseburger and Sandy had venison meat loaf and we both really enjoyed our meals. I also had an Autumn Russian, a cocktail made with pumpkin-spice vodka, Kahlua, cream, and a dash of nutmeg. It was yummy! ... country. It is cal Jim's Smokin' Que and I am going to say they had the best ribs we have ever eaten. Sorry Scott but it is true:)) They are only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday and they were packed for lunch today. If you are ever in the Blairsville area make sure you go and get some ribs!!

We also visited Blueridge, GA today. It is a nice little tourist town ...
