Safari time in Corbett National Park. Tigers and elephants were on our list of targets. We never found any - at least not until the very end!!

Jeep Safari
We woke up at 5:00 AM today so that we could go on our jeep safari, again hoping to catch a glimpse of a bangle tiger. It was cold and the open jeep made it even colder. Unfortunately for us, the government had ordered the closing of all national wildlife conservation areas due to poaching and Indian nationals building homes and opening business in the parks. Riding an elephant through the bush was a real kick. We never saw and elephant, but we did see spotted deer, monkeys and bugs. It was nice to be away from the city from the city, all of the traffic and honking horns. It is very peaceful here! Our elephants name was Kaylina, she was so graceful, but had a bit of an attitude. Wonderful wildlife
... i form af samosas – en friturestegt brodting med grontsager i. Nammelinam. I lobet af safarien saa jeg bl.a. en masse raadyr, forskellige fugle, aber og en kaempe elefant, men desvaerre ingen tiger. Tilgengaeld saa jeg en masse tigerfodspor, og saa kunne man rigtig sidde der og fole sig dum, fordi tigeren garanteret bare gik rundt inde i skoven og taenkte “he he he, jeg er lige her, men I kan ikke se mig.” ...
