    ... coach carrying a large silver trophy, was Georges LaRaque, who had played in the NHL. We chatted with George and a few of the players at both ends of the flight. They were all very interesting and pleasant young men who had paid their own way to compete along way from home, in the game they loved. The drive home was an extra half hour with heavy traffic from Dundas to Trafalgar but worth it to sleep in our own bed after 25 days ...

    We woke feeling a little delicate, and the snow was coming down hard, so decided to ask for a late checkout and just relax for the day, our flight isn't until 10pm tonight so it was going to be a lonnnnng day. Went and had a lovely soak in the hotel spa and pool whilst the snow fell outside. Then went to have some breakfast in the restaurant, which was defiantly needed.     The cold doesn't wanna leave. Temperatures around -25 and a wind chill around -40. We stayed inside almost the whole day. Watching tv. Watching the presentation of Canada's team for the Olympics live. We played some monopoly and just chilled. It's so nice being here, they really take care of me.     ... In here are two MASSIVE industrial washer and dryer machines. They are great! You can't buy laundry powder. It's all liquid. And fabric softener seems to be tissue like things you put in the wash. Weird. Our kitchen is pretty good too. We seem to be the only people who cook, and the others who live here aren't messy, so thankfully, so far, the kitchen is always clean. There are 2 massive fridges and inside them we keep milk.... That comes in a bag.... ...
