... steep rock steps, tree roots. It's worth it, though; absolutely beautiful walking along the meandering stream with many little bridges crossing back and forth as the trail winds up and down the mountain. The lake is pretty but the power station sure ruins the natural beauty.

We are on a BEAUTIFUL lot today. Absolutely beautiful. We're at a fairground on the edge of town in the middle of a forest. The trees are really tall and the grass is bright green (that may have more to do with the fact that we’re set up around the animal barns…haha). Our lot today is at a fairground and they have a dump station. Thus I'm already predisposed to appreciate and love said lot no matter what it throws at me. ... a few rocks that I think my mom will like well enough for her garden. On our way out of the park we stopped at the wildlife blind. We discovered there was another geocache nearby. Before we really got started looking for the cache I noticed this neat plant with purple berries that I've never seen before. So I snapped a few shots of the plant and tried to figure out what it was while Shane looked for the cache. Sure enough he found it while I was still preoccupied ...

... unsuccessful in locating any of the diamonds. They say there are plenty out there, and some good size ones have been found this year, as recently as 2009 a 5.75 carat stone was found here. We just were not lucky today. Our campsite tonight is very nice, all the roads and the sites are asphalt and have picnic tables, fire rings and each site includes a designated spot for a tent. This is a very beautiful setting.
