I had kidney failure and with chemo treatment, I'm not allowed to be with any crowd with the exception with a doctor's okay. If I wish to fly, I need the doctor's okay with a 48 hour report to the airline before the scheduled flight. A bummer!

We had a tour of the ranch and were introduced to lots of the horses my favourite was Corazon, while Kate had a ride on a horse named Cochise. Later, we all gathered on the front steps of Lisa's house to get a family photo op and some pictures of the different groups.

We are very sad to be leaving Yosemite as we have had three beautiful days hiking in the park. The Big Oak Flat entrance to the park is only about an hours drive from Groveland, which key had her first go at driving in the states - only one brief section was driven on the left! The park is a very reasonable $20 per private car for the week. We have both decided that we would very much like to ...
... back we were heading in dreadful California traffic toward the Golden Gate and I took the exit for Sausalito to hang out for dinner and walk around and wait for the traffic to pass. We had dinner right on the water over looking San Fran at the Trident. Emily has an interest in Alcatraz so we made sure to get lots of views of the island and some of the fun things at the gift shop!
