      ... by 5:00 PM. Rule of the Road - when you do not have a reservation stop early - that includes camping. We walked around with cameras in hand discovering the historical churches and monuments in Haines Junction - we checked out the Catholic Church (built in 1954) constructed from Quonset huts left after the construction of the Alaska Highway - this is the second church we have seen built from Quonset huts the other was in Beaver Creek.
