The next morning was Friday, and Carol & Doug took us to the bus station to head back to Chicago, from where we commenced our train journey taking about 52 hours to the San Francisco area. That is another story, but while waiting for the train we did get about 1 1/2 hours in the bitter cold of Chicago to go down to the lakefront of Lake Michigan, and get a bit of a look around. I also have a large amount of paperwork to get started on for background checks, Visa's, work papers etc. I will owe my final payment of $1,100 to CIEE once I get placed in a school, this doesn't include my plane ticket. So, until later then!

Impatiently excited!

* Apparently, toddlers sometimes have no problem using the tub as a secondary toilet during a bath (NOTE: see the previous point about things not grossing me out anymore)
