Snow in December
... in front of us (also partly obscured by heavy cloud). Passed lovely picnic and camp area along Swampy Plain River ... Definitely worth a look next time. Camped at Tom Groggin along the mighty Murray River... Great secluded camp sites right on the river. Hard to believe this is where it all begins for the mighty Murray - crystal clear and beautiful... Ski Trip Day 2
This morning we were up early again to have breakfast, pack up and catch the bus to the mountain for another full day of skiing. We went down a few runs at Smiggins to get warmed up (so sore!) and then took a bus over to Perisher. You can ski over there, but the first leg of the trip involves a really long T-bar that we all fell off of yesterday and we weren't in the mood ...
Porcupine Rocks Walk

The clouds were fast coming in so we decided to head back down to the beginning of the track. On the way back crowds were wandering up, maybe 20 other plus couples and groups. Tis getting rather busy here now.
We wandered down chatting with another couple from Wollongong. They have a holiday house in the nearby town of Berridale their passion is this area and of course to ski in winter and walk in the summer. What a life.
