      ... landing, three steps a landing etc. A swimming pool was nestled up here, small, no room for laps, probably a very cool pool to chill off and chat. We are told Mrs. Kaufmann would sometimes sleep in the guest house when it was particularly hot opening all of the windows creating what could almost be considered a bedroom outside.

      Flat roofed houses can be a problem and when the Kaufmann's moved in there were fifty leaks, this did get remedied. The Wrights ...

      ... want to interrupt the spirits! The Inn has hosted many dignitaries and weary travellers over its many years. The interior is very Victorian, the walls laden with photos illustrating its history.

      Night has fallen, we will too fall into our beds if we could. It takes a running leap to get on top of them by the way. No internet service holds this blog back. No photos today either, just wasn't one of those days, but look out tomorrow.

      ... up with something that at least looked like gravy (Lindsay and I don't like gravy and thus couldn't be accurate judges of how good our food was...haha). We had a church service in the lodge before loading up all of the cars and going back to Timberline.

      You guys, I LOVE skiing! We had a group breakfast, graciously cooked by Dana and Daniel; before heading over to Timberline to ski. There were four new skiiers in the group so we headed straight to the bunny slopes. I made it on and off the ski lift without falling: step one!
