... an additional 2 days because we are loving it! Second day we go to leave fro dinner and again it won't start, dead battery...so we call down to the place and within 15 minutes a guy comes and rattles off something about Volas (nearby mainland city) and new batteries...I assume he is putting in a new battery! Touring Skiathos by Boat
Sunday we took a boat tour around the island, 7 hours with multiple stops and secluded beaches for swimming. The water is still quite cold so only the hardy swim...obviously not us! ... the port but I am disappointed when I hear that this year it did not sail at all out of the port. The whole summer remains here tight, and I believe it is because of the economic crisis!
It is so near SKIATHOS….an island so beautiful with so much greenery, beauty and history. It is just 12 nautical miles. Indeed so pity to be tight in the port all this time!
