Checked out nearby Johnson lake on the way back to Banff and came across another massive bull elk just sitting by the side of the road. He was yodeling for his females. Eeeee, that's an eerie sound! Saw lots more elk foraging in the meadows. They definitely seem to come our more at dusk.

The trail to the Plain of Six Glaciers was long and hot and we quickly went through our water and were definitely ready for lunch when we arrived.
