... we met up with Taranaki friends and took them to see the lights of Piccadilly Circus. When you are so far from home there is something so wonderful about seeing people you know. It really was lovely catching up with Shelly and Somers and hearing about their time in London, it was like history repeating, their stories were that same as ours 13years ago!! So funny. Was a great ending to a great day.

... The Observatory is the place where time is measured from, Greenwich Mean Time. We found the 0 deg line of longitude and took our photo standing on it with half our body in the east and half in the west. ... forward to; a treat to ourselves in light of our 'earlier than expected' return. Also high on the agenda was the wedding of Alex's childhood best friend Katie who had all but resigned herself to Alex being absent from her big day.

Regarding the future; who know's! One thing that is for sure however, is that if Alex has anything to do with it, plenty more amazing trips can be expected - cannot wait :-D
