Matthiessen State Park is another park close to the the town of Utica. Suzanne and I really enjoyed hiking this area more than the Starved Rock State Park. This park has some neat terrain and some very nice waterfalls. Sunday we made it to Utica, Il and we are staying here for 4 days. Lovely cabins, super rooms. Amazing view from window. Lovely food (though portions were so large we ordered 1 person's meal for both of us)
