Well, we survived.....
... we had to help him get a free tablespoon of petrol earlier by letting him take us to a very expensive bazaar from whom he clearly gets a commission! Not surprised the prices they were trying to charge!!!
Anyway, the Park Avenue (£18 per room per night) is very acceptable and the staff are all rushing round like mad intent on making everything spot on.

Lovely time in Kochi
It is a lovely time here. Though it is hot and humid, the place is lovely, and so are the people.
The most attractive thing is the greenery all around, and the backwaters at Fort Kochi and Wellington island.

After arriving the evening before today was our first proper day to take in our new place. The city of Kochi is however split over 4 islands and the mainland. Each island has a different role/aspect to it... One is the Navy Base/Harbour, another for commercial goods, one for the beach and finally Fort Kochi where we would be staying which is the tourist and historical centre.
