We woke up to a beautiful 65 degrees this morning in Kentucky. After a quick free breakfast at Comfort Inn we headed south to Gatlinburg. Of course, I had done my research and scheduled some detours. Our next stop for two nights, was just outside Gatlinsburg, which neighbours the Smoky Mountains, the most visited national park in the whole of America. We had driven around 6 hours that day to get there, and so that evening we took to one of the local fast food joints. Although the locals in there were horrific, the food was exactly what we fancied! ... I've been working on them has been the progressive order of a house being built. At our first build site I did foundational work and framing; at the second site I worked on siding; at the third site, priming; and today, finishing touches and sodding. It was a great day, I really enjoyed the work and was able to talk with a bunch of the locals and habitat workers. ... and stopping again. This time, for go-karting. It was so much fun racing around in the go karts with the sincere happiness of young children.
