    ... to dinner. We were fed at our accommodation and we had a great beef stew with potatoes and chocolate mousse for dessert. For the evening went for a short walk to the base of one of the mountain with Paul and Amanda then had a cider at the Ski Lodge bar. It was an amazing summer evening with spectacular views. I already much prefer Switzerland to Paris – just so beautiful.




    Fact of the Day: Unless you fly in, you have to enter Switzerland via a tunnel.

    ... time we reached our apartment. From our balcony we could see the top of Mt. Titlis. It was covered in snow and down below we could see the village of Engelberg.

    ... had just been in Germany for four weeks. She sent us off with mint, parsley, chives and a very long cucumber from the garden plus a bottle of Opfikon wine!

    The next day was not our best day. We were wanting to go from Zurich to Luzern, a distance of about 60km. We got badly lost coming out of Zurich. Our GPS took us all the way up a hill nd then bought us all the way back to where we had started...I don't know if it was anything to do ...
