      ... still higher up you can go on the gondola to see snow and get a better view of the surrounding areas (going to check it out tomorrow).

      After a reasonable meal, we watched the world cup finals. Most of the group and the staff manning the bar were German fans, so the win was quite exciting for them.

      ... out onto the snow and tried to walk around, but it was slippery. We went part of the way up and we threw snow balls around. My hands were stinging from the cold. Mt. Titlis is at an elevation of 3,238m (10,000ft).

      ... and drove some more. And THEN, once we had been in the Alps for a while, we reached Mt. Stanserhorn. First we took a train which got us a little less than half way up and from there we took the coolest gondola ever. It had a top deck. We spent 45 minutes on the mountain top.       ... drunk, there is beer everywhere but I am only going to be in the Swiss Alps once and I wanted to make the most of it with a full day riding. When I woke nice and early feeling fresh and ready to go it was very disappointing to look out the window and not even be able to see ten feet! I couldn't go riding in this it was just too foggy, should have got drunk with the others last night.
