Peace in Rome
... on translation and study, I still haven't lost my love of the Classics. They are what give me the true peace I so desperately crave. Whenever I lose sight of my goal or feel like I can't handle the task at hand, I have only to pick up a book or look up at a building like the Pantheon to find my way again.
Sorry for my sentimentality, but I thought you might enjoy a little insight into my own mind.

Ciao Bella!
... was pounced on coming out of the bathroom at 359 am – "FEDE IVE MISSED MY F***ING BUS!") pulled me together, closed all the windows to stop me jumping out of the second floor of our flat (kidding), and booked me on another flight, leaving much closer from home, and surprisingly not too expensive considering I flew in 2.5 hours. A rush to the train, matchsticks in the eyelids on the train to ensure I didn’t nod off and end up in Brighton ...
Day 3 – Change of Plans
... terrace was part of Villa Borghese, which was a massive and gorgeous park. We were supposed to go to the Galleria Borghese to see one of the city’s best museums but when we arrive, they tell us that all tickets were sold out for a week. I was pretty ****** since the Galleria was actually one of the few museums I was excited to see. And just like that, I was inspired to change up the whole day.

All roads lead to Rome
... around town to look at some of our favourite parts of the city. We walked all around the Pantheon, over to Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, and the area around largo Argentina and just got ourselves lost in the city streets. When we’d had enough we head over to via del Governo Vecchio which is a bit of a happening street (more so in the afternoons) and stopped off at Mimi e Coco for an aperitivo.
