Avoiding social interactions like the plague, Greg spends most of his time remaking wacky versions of classic movies with his only friend, Earl. Greg’s well-meaning mother intervenes, forcing him to befriend Rachel, a classmate who's been diagnosed with leukemia. Against his better judgment, Greg concedes. Both Greg and Rachel are surprised—even ...

And then when in the desert, there's few, if any places to go get water or other amenities. Just take a look at the map of Utah west of Salt Lake City. Hardly anything at all besides the town of Tooele until you get to Nevada. But this was all what makes it great at the same time. I was always at least partially alert. And stuff happened and stuff didn't happen. It's ...

... I flagged down a husband and wife who were driving in a jeep. They stopped and I asked them if I could catch a ride up into Big Cottonwood Canyon. They informed me I still had a while to go, probably several miles and the uphill terrain would be very difficult. They agreed to give me a ride at least to the top of the mountain. We were a little unsure if the bike could fit in the back seat, but my resolve was strong and I made it happen! I got into the back seat with their dog, who's ...
