    We are going to lose an hour (from Pacific to Mountain) so now I will have to hear Terry say....It really is....


    TUESDAY 6/23-We left Elko early so that we could travel before the heat settled in, although it is going to be in the low 90's sometimes the sun is HOT and the wind blowing is cooler since there is low humidity.

    Excellent fluffy pancakes for breakfast :) After Denver the train began to climb and slowly we saw signs that it was getting colder. The snow increased as we climbed to a resort and the mountains were covered with skiers and boarders.
