    Once we are set up we head over to see Aunt Bea. It's great to be able to travel and see family. After hugs and welcomes, Erik and Gretta arrive with Jillian. Bea has fixed a spaghetti dinner and we enjoy great conversation and catching up. We were in this area in 2012 when they gave us the grand tour, as only locals can, of the Salt Lake City area.

    ... I flagged down a husband and wife who were driving in a jeep. They stopped and I asked them if I could catch a ride up into Big Cottonwood Canyon. They informed me I still had a while to go, probably several miles and the uphill terrain would be very difficult. They agreed to give me a ride at least to the top of the mountain.
