... the cielings of the old homes....crazy stuff, so detailed! There were tombs and old theatres as well.

We managed to have a great time despite the rain and would love to go back one day to really enjoy the whole beach seen, so we will see maybe back to Turkey one day to teach English to the eager young Turks and travel in the summer time!!!!

It was time to get off the boat. If it wasn’t for the prospect of a decent shower and bed, we might have refused – but as it turned out these small luxuries were motivation enough. We said some fond farewells to the crew and fellow travellers, and lugged our luggage onto a small tin boat for our transfer to shore.
