... 300 miles. Tomorrow we pack and then we're up bright and early to get to the airport on the 27th. Hard to believe we're leaving paradise to go back to the real world. Getting pictures up on the blog is still a no-go, so when I get home I'll put them in an online album for all to view. For those of you I'll see in person will hopefully get a personal slide show if you want one. I have take about 1,500 pictures (Aaron hasn't even broke 200). Of course not all of these ...
Darfield, South Island, New Zealand sarahandaaron... up to get a better grip and from the short shorts emerged his...you know whats. Yes, Mom, that's right. Anyway, I nudged Jo and she looked up. We were laughing so hard we had to leave the shed to catch our breathe. Luckily, he did not see us. It was like a car wreck - you don't want to look but you have to.
The other truck drivers and shed guys are all really nice and funny so we are having a great time working with ...
... it got was my thighs. It took less than an hour to go through the cave, and it was one of the coolest things I have ever done. I had a blast! Then, we all got dry clothes on and drove a few miles to a place called Castle Hill which is near the location where the Chronicles of Narnia movies were filmed. It was so beautiful; there were green hills with a lot of giant rocks covering them. Some people went bouldering, some ...

Springfield, New Zealand sneekybeekyAfter waking up and finding out that we'd not been murdered in a dark lay-by (always a good start) we drive back into Fox Town and get on the vintage bus for our Helli-hike up the Fox Glacier. I've never been in a helicopter before so am quite excited as we take off with me in the back and Nic at the front. The views of the Glacier from the helicopter are great really showing the enormity of it ...
Ashburton, New Zealand nienke78... it, but I managed to stop her in time! She kindly took some pics of my coming down the slope, proving to my friend Cameron that I actually can board! See Cameron? It had been a great day, although not advancing my skills all that much I did feel more confident on the board. Maybe next year I will sort out enough cash to be able to go for a week straight, get some private lessons and get on the actual mountain, even though chair lifts are seriously scary!
Mount Hutt, New Zealand michelleab... building games. It was a lot of fun and the full-on crew were the best! June 12, 2007 Observations by S. R I woke up at 6:00 and my home stay family made breakfast. After the rest of my friends and my things were packed up we piled in their little version of a mini-van. The drive back to the school was a little crazy. Since the cars are smaller they take corner faster than the bus so I white-knuckled the overhead handle. When we got to ...
