Argostoli - Greece
We arrived at Santorini on Friday but had decided before hand not to visit it this time. We were there a couple of years ago for 3 days and really saw all we wanted to see. It is very commercialized now according to locals so we spent the day having a relaxing onboard time. That night after a fantastic dinner we came across a show “The Marriage Game” that was about to start so thought we would have a look. Never ...
... our included lunch is a tad ordinary. They give us some local wines, the white is very sweet polish remover, the red is just red polish remover. Eventually find a beer as we walk through the shops. No real shopping opportunity, mainly tourist ****, with little variety.
We return along the coast to the ship. We stop for a photo opportuniy at one their favourite beaches. It is white sand, but a long way down from the road we are traveling on. The specks on the photo are people.
Friday 29th August

After lunch, we go a "free" champagne art auction. Some pieces sell for over $20 000. We win the raffle for a piece of art work, which ends uo costing $350 to frme and send home.
We get constant invites to future auctions, as valued customers. We stay well away.
Dinner tonight requires formal dress. We :"frock up" and enjoy the meal. Photographers tske lots of photos of us and we buy a few for about $150.

If they "kitten" were in the water off the dock, it would not keep "meowing" for two hours. It was around 5:30a.m., when Justin was the first one up, because he could not stand to hear the kitten screaming for help. He quietly grabbed a flashLight out of the dog ...
