We went to one of the other camps in Hwange to learn about the different skulls. We were lucky enough to get to have lunch at a waterhole with 11 different animals, hippo, crocs, ostrich, kudu, giraffe, elephants, wildebeest, ...
Lions, Warthogs, and Monkeys
... teaching them how to hunt, before reintroducing them to the wild. Lions have really short memories, so once reintroduced, any traces of domesticity is completely erased. The two male lions we walked with today have had constant human interaction, on literally a daily basis since they were born, and are therefore relatively safe. I say "relatively" because we were all issued big sticks at the start of the tour. Not to hit the lions ...
