    Good for the night before your flight

    Great location for being close to the airport. The place is a bit run down but the owner more then makes up for it. He is so helpful on getting around town and with pick-ups and drop offs to the airport.

    After an overnight plane ride, we arrived in Zurich on time, collected our bags and there was Stefan to greet us. One thing about being in Zurich is the use of public transportation to go everywhere! We rode in a car one time and that was from Kastenienbaum to catch the bus back to Lucerne!

    ... and flaked out for a couple of hours. Apart from taking a leisurely five kilometre stroll in the midday heat the furthest we went was the bar at the opposite end of the hostel. Alfonzo, one helluva nice guy organized a car for us to hire and even arranged for the hire company to pick us up the next morning.
