... raft paddling as hard as I could when our guide Foster said that we had about a 50/50 chance of making it through. We lost the coin flip as a 6 foot wave completely devoured our raft and flipped it upside down. We spent 5 days in Victoria Falls. We can never tire of the place and of course can park our camper in Michael and Debbie's big yard under their trees. It's good to spend time with them and see John and Dawn too and their children. We always enjoy their company and it's equally good to get to know their children again.

... maybe 10m from the edge of the falls), to this rock-enclosed area that acts like a "tub" and literally look over the edge. What David did next for us, though, was amazing. He took one of our cameras (again, in the Rainsleeve bag), walked out on the stones, and took photos of the Main Falls leaning literally out over the edge. One of his photos is part of this blog.
