    ... 30 miles from the Minnesota border staying at the Turtle Lake, WI RV Park which is on Route 8. It's nothing fancy at all, but good enough for us. There's a nice breeze, it got sunny and best of all, NO MOSQUITOS!!!! Took Sandy for a nice walk and we gained an hour today......it was a long day,, but all is good and we are continuing to enjoy ourselves. Hope everyone back home is good and keep on reading.     ... that we had to cross over a big tall bridge in this storm. NOT FUN!
    By the time we touched down on solid land again Mike was white knuckled and sweating. I was absolutely silent. That doesn't happen very often.
    The rain and wind finally let up around 11:00 or so. We stopped for lunch at a restaurant and while there asked the people next to us if they could recommend a campground to stay in. They sent up back up highway 53 to Northwood Shores.

    Yesterday was a slow start. I took advantage of the kitchen at the Bunkhouse and had breakfast watching TV, brought me back to grade school. After being on my bike for less than 100 yards, I saw the Dalbo post office, realized I needed to mail some postcards, and stopped suddenly.
