        ... there is a small river running into the sea at this spot, we get the chairs out and sit in the sun for an hour it so. There is a chap not too far away half heartedly putting his sun loungers away for the winter. On an plant overhanging the river Les spotted a kingfisher that had just caught a fish. A little later I saw it in the same plant, it then dived into the water, caught a fish and flew up stream. It had lovely iridescent colours along it's back and a pale cream front. We walked ...

        ... or the Post Office in Buxton's Main Street! We were served by a man who spoke some English, and he said we have lots of credit, that's ok then. We then walked down to the fish market on the harbour, we bought some palamut, this fish is only available for a short season as it migrates along this coast.         ... the city's walls. The Istanbul gate was the gate over the road that led to Istanbul. It was massive and still intact, and very cool to see modern-day motorbikes and cars using a gate and a road first built by Romans.
