Driving from NYC to Lake Placid was a great experience, its amazing how quickly the city stops and suburbs and countryside take over, in only a five hour drive we arrived at the foot of the Adironack Park and began to drive up to Lake Placid through the snow. We check-in and head up to our room - The Panther Suite which has 2 bedrooms, a kitchen nook and a bathroom. Each room has a balcony that overlooks Lake Mirror which is a large frozen lake. Once we've settled in it's time to head out and explore this town.
