OK so this is my first post on this site.
Here are our stats for today.
Left Oceanport at 8:45am and arrived in Sandusky, OH at 6:45pm.
We traveled 545 miles on I-80 and it was a long and hot ride.
Tomorrow is Chicago which is 250 miles, so an easy ride compared to today.

So finally after a crazy few weeks of weddings, last minute trip details, and visiting with family we are on the road but not until after a long start to the first day. We had planned on filling up our propane tank, stopping by BassPro for an extra fishing pole, and Lowes to grab a few master locks before ...

... campground and spend the day/night along the shores of upper peninsula. We are only five hrs from Mackinaw bridge! I am very impressed with my travel companions, it seems my Saggitarian Mara has rubbed off on the girlies. Yesterday's audio book: "The Night Gardener" by Jonathan Auxier, is a little Gaiman-like and at times had the feeling of Coroline, but ...
