... Am Strand lag jede Menge vom Meer schön geformtes Treibholz herum und teilweise gab es so genannten Strandwald, der unter anderem aus Kiefern bestand, die direkt an den Strand anschlossen. In diesem Bereich fühlte man sich auch richtig wie in Thailand, weil hier, abseits von den Touristenschwärmen, lauter thailändische Familien den sonnigen Samstag am Meer genossen. Was wohl wirklich komisch ist, ist die Tatsache, dass der Flughafen von Phuket mitten ...
Never again
... knew of anywhere i could buy a suit, she looked at me dumb founded for a sec, then we had a good laugh, well was it hot, we finally got back to the shopping center, air conditioning and peace this is why it turned out to be valuable, we settled for mcdonalds for lunch cause we needed sugar, air con, and although we never eat mcdonalds, shelley has a thing where she has to have a big mac in every country she visits, dont know why,

Kids day at Nai Yang beach
... to buy rambutan (a Thai fruit that I love!) and I was happy to peel it and dish it out to the kids until one threw it all back up onto my foot ha ha This was the second time I've been christened with vomit! Why doesn't it happen to Kim????
We got back to the centre after we'd all had such a great day. Later that night we were to board our overnight bus to Bangkok en route to the Thai/Cambodia border for a weeks holiday! ......

Songkran New Year
... m in is Rawei beach and is a lot quieter than the main areas which I am thankful for can’t be doing with the brits abroad and lager louts, sorry getting old.
The day has been good and going over the road for a meal and drink and I am happily surprised when they tell me there is a free BBQ on today for the festival and make the most of it.

A weekend in Phuket
... shed' to get some Thai food for dinner. The 3 Italian men in front of me invited me to sit at their table - I was glad not to have to eat alone! M, C and L are staying in Phuket for 4 weeks on vacation and were all really nice, despite our language barrier problems. The Thai food was quite bland, obviously watered down for Western tastes, which was disappointing after Chiang Mai's version of Thai food!!
