... having that opinion, that I bought two pairs of shoes here. No they weren't ugly mens shoes and yes they actually came in size 13- the first shop in all of South Africa to provide for large feet thus far. Mr America and whatever other store it was, seemed like the two most legitimate stores in the entire centre. Despite Hugo and Shevan constantly pestering me to hurry up, I spent a good 15 minutes deciding if the shoes were right, which included a message back to Max at home to ...

Arrived at the airport in Joberg for 3:30 and headed for the hotel shuttle. Took a shower, dressed up and stayed at the hotel for a very nice supper with a bottle of "Fat *******". We stay the night at the Protea Hotel, have breakfast and check out around 11:00 AM. We will have lunch at the airport and do some last minute shopping before flying to Doha where we must spend another night before coming ...

I was able to feed them which was so fun, their trunks are so strong and precise but they were very ...

After 3 months of travel through 7 countries, using 6 currencies. In total I have traveled 46,589 klm using planes, trains, buses, taxis, 4x4, tuktuks, boats, camels and over 100 klm on foot, it is now time to fly home. I was privileged to meet so many amazing, ...

Our flight was eventless and we awoke just before landing in Johannesburg. We were met by a transfer agent who escorted us through South African customs in less than 10 minutes. Amazing, considering the lines we saw of individuals waiting to be processed. Within minutes we were checked into our hotel near the airport and thinking about what we should do with our 24 hours in Jo-berg. Thankfully, the concierge was able to arrange a 4 hour tour ...
