    ... be waiting for us with a sign (as requested by Vikki) but as it turns out he was sat outside in a car. We ended up fannying around for a good couple of hours not wanting to spend money calling the hostel/ driver but all was resolved and our spirits picked up when we jumped in his brand new Audi A4 with complementary sweets and water.     ... as muggings do occur. One thing we have noticed throughout Africa, is that cafes are over-staffed, so you barely have time to take the last mouthful before your plate is whisked away by eagle eyed wait staff with nothing else to do.     ... non registered airstrips use the same frequency. Bushwillow airstrip is 1000M fence to fence, this means 800M usable.
    Michiel made me do the landing at the grass strip. For the non pilots amongst U, when you land on a field at high altitude the air is thinner and this has a lot of effects on the flying performance of the airplane.
    Higher landing speed, more runway distance needed.
