... tours were informative and entertaining, well put together and the guides were really friendly and talkative, as you'd expect. Our brewery tour was rounded off with a tasting session of the 6 of Speight's signature beers. It only took 6 small measures for us to start the process of putting the world to rights with our tour guide. We were all toured out for the day.

... sky and sunshine! Perfect weather for two boat trips. We walked to the Whale Watch to check in and the sign said "Severe warning for Seasickness condition during tour". Mmmmmm.....I've been seasick once in my life and that was 9 years ago in Kaikoura and Kevin didn't know if he got seasick at all....so I wasn't taking any chances and we both took a motion sickness pil just to make sure. Dunedin - England v Romania
... centre of the city and went into one of the bars in the Octagon (the eight sides street city centre where all the bars are). We had a few beer's and watched the All Blacks play the French with the locals.
The second day in Dunedin was quite uneventful. We explored the city and the Otago Peninsula - which we are sure would have been nicer if not for the gale force winds.
Other than the rugby, we are quite happy to carry on our NZ journey as Dunedin was a bit of a let down.

We see an albatross!
... agile and we had a great commentary all the way from the captain. We saw sea lions, baby fur seals and plenty of bird life nesting on the rocks. We went round the headland and were able to observe the albatross chicks we had seen earlier only this time from the sea side. Then the real high light of the trip. We headed out to sea in search of flying albatross. We didn't really expect to see one ...

... sightseeing and to see the beautifal landscape of New-Zealand.
In 2 weeks whe travelt in a big circle trought the southern part of the South-Island.
And because of that whe where able to stay in the most Southern city of the world, There are other places more South but those are considert villages and not citys!!
