    ... I was dreaming when I saw the giraffe in the wild. A gentle, beautiful, tall creature moving gracefully through the bush, then it stared at us and starting walking directly down the path towards us. Amazing! WOW, it was the coolest thing yet!     ... arrived before the gates were opened at 6 a.m., so we sat and waited a few minutes. I remarked that this was like the Amazing Race, when contestants get all bunched up before opening hours .     ... we have been back to going on game drives every day, and helping out the new vols with their training. On Saturday we attempted to camp out in the reserve which would have been amazing but unfortunately it started to rain as we were cooking our meal so we bailed (although I was on Lion watch at 1.30am to 3am so I'm secretly relieved!)
