    ... by surreally coloured rocks and hills. Almost spilling into the site is a large field of solidified lava from a 15th century eruption. Its a dramatic and beautiful place. Its also popular with tourists both foriegn and Icelandic because of its natural hot springs which people come to bathe in.

    ... moat was completed by the addition of some crawfish donated by our neighbours on the beach. The day was rounded off by a massive water fight, which included Maija desperately trying to "accidentally" hit a random American lady snoozing on her lie-low on the lake. As we headed back to the cars we got possibly the largest ice creams in Nevada and we only ordered the singles.

    ... and tankers and a helicopter coming in to pick up a huge bundle (I guess to drop into the firefighters that were in the middle of it).
