It was a long drive down to Reno, but I was there for one reason and that was to play cards. Specifically blackjack.
      Because seriously right?
Is there really any other game worth considering?
Blackjack is an unusual game in many ways, in that you play against the house only (in most cases) never against other players. Even though you can have a full table load of fellow players it always comes down to you versus ...

I have really enjoyed skiing and can't wait to do it again!! ; Ted's report: we went to Alpine Meadows to ski, we got the chair lift all the way to the top of the mountain, then we snow skied down it. That on the Gold Cost there is a Starbucks (cafe that is all over America) has a ski in ski out thingy kind of like a drive through except with snow! I am now on level 2+!! Olivia's report: Today I thought my skiing improved a lot. I learnt how to control my turning and was a lot more steady. My teacher (Kendall) gave me some great ...

      ... on the slopes.

We all hung around Gold Coast most of the morning. After meeting up with Ben, we skied down Mountain Run to the Silvermans’ friends’ pizza joint Le Chamois at the base of Squaw. The kids were done for the day. Mountain Run alone is probably equivalent to 5 consecutive runs back home. Also the altitude or our pace had gotten to us and Lucy came down with a nasty cold. We were down for the day ...

We all walked to pegg's eggs for an amazing brunch! The day and night was very low key. We then went to dinner for all you can eat sushi. One thing I learned is that it's much easier to eat shovels of lobster than sushi. In the morning Eric dropped us off at the greyhound station to catch our bus to San Francisco. The bus was quite late but it was very comfortable and pleasant. We took 2 stops one in sacramento and one in Oakland. It's all part of the adventure ...
