It was a nice change, a vacation from a vacation, but I was ...

... soften the blows of cold, carrying skis, the need for food .... But having said that we actually had a great day! Ted the kamikaze on the slopes; Jess, Liv and Pete conquering the blue slopes together and me spending time racing Ted on the slopes and doing the runs with the girls. We had a lovely last night reminiscing about our ski time at dinner and the final controversy before bed was working out who could say what about whom on the blog! Over and out Squaw ...

I went on a chair lift to get to the top of the mountain and that's when I went 60km/ h. Cathy's report: well what can I say - the kids have done the day justice ! Pete and I dropped the kids at ski school and took ourselves off to Alpine Meadow to put into practice what we had learned the day before. The ...

... crazy through Reno and bumped up the music and started car dancing. It took us another half hour to get to Carson City.

We found Chris' place relatively easily. I met little Kate, Chris' sister. We all had a scrumptious dinner together, the kids went to bed and the rest of us stayed up late and caught up on life. At one point, Dustin met the .22 rifle that shot him in the leg ...

          ... decompress.

We went back to the Silvermans and cooked out again. The kids had another game of All-American Ball and Shovel Ball. Before going to bed, Alex told us that Tahoe was expecting snow and that Donner Pass may be out of the plans for the next day. I guess I heard her but we had not seen snow in a while and it was April. It was sort of hard to process. Sure enough we woke up at 6am to a light dusting and Donner Pass was ...
