... so Katy, Steve and I waked around for a bit before hand. I showed them where Academia was so they could see the David (since I had seen it for free in August, I decided I wasn’t going to pay this time) and I hung out and walked around a bit. It felt nice to be in a city that I had been to before because I knew my general way around. Actually, I have to give myself props, I don’t think we used a map but maybe once the entire time we were ...
Florence, Tuscany, Italy ab10... Cranberry Sauce, Stuffing, Potatoes, and Mixed Vegetables. For dessert pumpkin pie, ice cream, and apple cider! It was nice to spend the night with classmates and a few professors.
Friday night, we had yet another Thanksgiving with all of my friends. Everyone prepared their favorite dish and we spent the night telling stories of our families Thanksgivings.

... food in Italy so far! Amazing!
Finished off with a gelati from Vivoli.
Walked up to Michaelangelo Square for awesome views right across Florence which is a pretty flat city and then over to Ponte Vechio.
Wednesday checked out Academia, the highlight of which was Michaelangelo's David which is a lot more amazing and stunning in real life than pictures or the copies littered about the city.
There was also a Robert ...

Stayed at Affittacamere Patrizia Hostel in Rio Maggiore in Cinque Terre and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
When we got to the Hostel it was just an office and no one was there. Our keys were stuck to the door with instructions on how to get to our dorm room. There was another set of keys there too so we could have taken those too and ...
Hi Everyone!
After an exhausting weekend in Brussels, I was in for yet another treat with cooking classes in Florence. Organized by my school, a group of us met with a chef for some lessons.
We were taught how to prepare typical Tuscan cuisine including Ribollita and Stuffed zucchini-flowers.
Everything was delicious & I look forward to trying these recipes at home!

... man in front dad? (les))....its not the real one because the line up was way too long, but its an exact replica. We saw a few more monuments befire we were free to walk around. Then we went back to the city to ...

... and we chit-chat while watching American TV. I could get used to this. The American guy is sleeping in our room too and he told me that he was in Paris last week and stayed at the same hostel I'm staying at and he told me to take the free walking tour offered by the hostel. He says it's 4 hours but totally worth it. Yess!!!! My feet have officially recovered and my calluses have hardened and I'm ready for more walking. Lots of designer stores and hoity ...
Florence, Tuscany, Italy sunmoonstarzMay 23 and 24 Florence was the last stop of our great European Honeymoon. We only had about one and half days to see what we could. We spent most of our time walking around and looking at all the buildings and outdoor sights. We had read a book on the construction of the Duomo, and seeing the actual building was a wonderful experience. We visited the Uffizi Gallery and saw ...
