... de 1 metro dele para tirar fotos, muito bom. O resto era só árvores, as mais diversas.
Estava na hora do almoço, fomos almoçar ao "Garota da Gávea", comemos uma grelhada mista (R$78) chegou para 3 e ainda sobrou.
Voltámos de barriga cheia, já nem quisemos jantar fora. Comemos qualquer coisa por casa.
Dor de garganta (devido ao frescão) também ajudou.
Deu ainda para fazer uma sauna com o Ricardo.

Steak, waterfalls, caipirinhas and carnival...
... too much fun and too many caipirinhas! For those that have not tasted the wonderful caipirinha it is made with cachaca, a Brazilian spirit that is made from sugercane. A caipirinha is fresh limes in abundance, sugar, ice and cachaca. They are mind bogglingly strong cocktails but awesome!

All night Carnival - and then some!
... We were both very pleased with how our day panned out. It's these sorts of things you wouldn't necessarily do on your own so we were both thrilled we had found someone who liked similar things.

Rio part 1

bit expensive, probably on par with back home. We've done the
touristy thing and have gone to see all the sights, christo, lapa,
sugarloaf and seen the santa tarisa neighbourhood, which apparently
is the oldest area within rio.
The statue of christ is
really impressive, its apparently made out of a lot of triangular
shaped soap stones and was constructed about only 70 years ago by the
