Rendezvous Lodge British Columbia

So after an hour or the bus and sky train we arrived at Tsawwassen Bay ferry terminal and boarded to make the trip over to Vancouver Island, we were met at Schwatz Bay by our host Rowena. This was to be our first couch surfing experience in a while, since Calgary in fact, and it was good to have that sense of nervous expectation again when meeting our host.

I love BC! Every time I drive through it I'm reminded that it's the most beautiful place in the world.

Last night I went to bed and I had no trouble sleeping.  After two weeks of sleeping on floors, the train and rough mattresses I finally had no trouble sleeping on the train.  The seat isn't uncomfortable on the train but for me at 6"2" 215 lbs it is sometimes hard to fit in the seat.  For the larger people who I mentioned in an early blog they weren't even able to sleep because their size stopped them from doing so.  I went to bed ...
