... drove around the western side with its empty beaches and a couple of flash resorts. I did suggest a revisit with fish and chips to see the sunset. We did find a cache near a viewpoint and enjoyed a walk on the beach. There were a lot of signs warning of the danger of the sea, like our West Coast, although it was gentle today.

The ocean is but a stone's throw away from the resort we're staying in......which is beautiful and soothing listening to the waves crashing on the rocks and very quiet after being in the noisy city...... ... guy said that the fishing wasnt great in Ucluelet... ffftt...I didnt puke on the ocean BTW

I stayed at the Uclulet Camp for about $36/night. Showers not included, but for one token $3, I managed to get er done in 5 minutes.... it was quiet, except for a "funny sounding dog" aka sea lion barking in the night... hehe... sea lion/seal...

Although I could definately do THAT again, I must move on.... to Tofino... almost ...
