    ... my favorite trek over to the Mission Inn to see their incredible light display - but I'm sure we'll get there sometime in the next couple of weeks! We're hoping that the worst of it is over, as we'll be making that long drive again to share Christmas Eve with Amy & Drew, and then back this way for Christmas Day with old friends Kathy & Gary, which has become something of a tradition when we're in this area.

    ... we truly want something, the Universe conspires to make it happen. This is my new favorite quote. I always suspected that people and groups are "conspiring."     ... in August Tim had a heart attack both reasons for him not returning this year. I wish him well.) Mel is excited and a little nervous. Since he was a kid he has wanted to go to Japan and has never had the opportunity - now he gets to go and have his way paid for! He and Jeff will have great fun together when Jeff arrives. My flight leaves at 12:30 tomorrow and we are in the air for 11 hours and 55 minutes. A LONG time! I hope you will keep me in  your prayers as I will you. More later . . ...
