      ... opposite the pathway down to the beach. The beach was packed and the surf looked immense with a glut of surfers showing off their skills. Squelching along the shoreline to pick a space amongst the crowded beach and found a spot by the flags, setting up our patch. Andy didn't waste anytime stripping off and sprinting into the sea, diving into the first big wave about to break.
