    ... and busy part of Syney with many bars and restaurants. A bit cooler this evening, only about 22. It was over 30 this afternoon thus the need for a rest in our air conditioned room.
    Had some good news while we were walking round the harbour, Neil has passed his driver assessments and tests and is now a fully qualified Train Driver. Well done son, we are proud of you and you deserve it. I know you have put a lot of hard work in.

    It was back to the ferry port again to catch the boat to Manly. Blessed with several beaches, this Sydney district is very popular with tourists. When we arrived, we sat on the pier eating sushi whilst local youngsters hung out, diving off the pier and swimming in the sea.
